Start to September

I decided to implement a rewards system with Charley to work on some things, such as:
1) Sleeping all night in her big bed
2) Not hitting/pushing/kicking (hurting others)
3) Sleeping without her binky
4) Potty training done

I am happy to report, she's slept in her own bed about 9 of the last 11 nights...  She's not had to have a timeout in the last 5 days (which is HUGE for her)...  She's practically potty trained (though she was when we started this, with an accident about every 10-14 days, I'm just trying to perfect)...  The binky is another story.  We've not received a sticker in that area yet.  :)  I knew it would be the hardest though...

She is getting more and more independent every day.  She's been washing her hands by herself for a while now.

One day I was pulling out her next bigger size clothes - these boots are a size 10, but she decided to wear them around the house.

Sometimes, in an effort to get her to play by herself (something that's still really hard for her), I give her small incentive prizes when she does it without being asked for a long time period (like 20 mins.) - she chose this tattoo - her first.

She asked to make colored ice cubes - we still haven't used them in the bath!  Maybe tonight!

We did another "cook a book" - If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.  We had to make something for the evening's potluck, so why not make it a learning experience?  We listened to the audio book while mixing.  Thanks to Layla for the apron!

We made another round/type of finger paint to try it out...  and she painted a picture to hang over her new baby's bed.

First time sponge painting too...

She is her father's daughter...  She slept 3 nights in a row in her big bed (we're up to only rewarding 3 nights in a row now) and chose these snakes as her prize.

Paula is always getting Charley little prizes...  right now it's to encourage potty training.  She brought over this set of like 30 hair clips, and C wanted them ALL in!
