On Halloween day, we had a BU-SY day scheduled in town.
9 am - Rod's doctor; while he's there:
9 am - take dogs to the vet
10 am - Halloween party at Charley's playgroup (which we only caught the last 10 minutes of) :(
lunch with our friends Melody and Michael
1 pm - Rod's dentist appt.; while he's there:
1:15 - Charley's PCV and flu vaccines
2:30 - Sara dentist appt.
4- groceries
5:30- gas
5:45 - head for home! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
So - we made the most of the Halloween party, staying 30 minutes late since we were so late arriving. We missed out on the trick or treating, and never made it to the potluck food, but at least Charley got to get some playtime in and I got some pictures!
Instead of hauling her around all day in her bulky, hot ladybug costume, we went for a more carseat friendly pumpkin look this time (hat courtesy... who else? Nana.)
Before we left I snapped off a few pics...

And, finally, we were off... and eventually onto our Halloween party.

| Today was an all-ages party, so there was a big crowd! |

| Here's much of Charley's usual crew... |
As I was finishing up at the dentist, Rod informed me that Charley had a poopy diaper... did she ever! A HUGE blowout - first one since before she started solid food! YUCK! Thank goodness I'd packed a change of clothes - so she got to wear the cute Halloween outfit Grandma sent her twice! The week before at playgroup she'd sported it.

And finally -
Last year, after Charley's due date (10/18) came and went, I was scheduled to go in for an appointment on the 21st. I had told Rod we had to leave early so I could photograph the Aspens on Harrison Pass, as they were beautiful this time of year. Well, Charley had different plans and that never happened! I managed to snap a few this year on our way over - though I think I missed the peak.
