Snow - take two

Well, not exactly.  In a matter of 24 hours, the snow Charley "played" in yesterday was mostly gone.  Still, it was slushy and cold out, so I bundled her up...

...and out we went.

Sheesh Mom, I can hardly walk in this thing!

Ack, I fell in the snow!

I HATE this white stuff!

Okay, maybe it was a little much, considering the snow was mostly gone.  Poor thing could hardly walk!

So, we went inside instead and had our second Wiggles dance party!

What IS all this white stuff?

So, I took advantage of the ginormous snow storm and took Charley out in the snow for the first time.

She was NOT a fan!

St. Paddy's Day!

We were invited to a St. Patrick's Day party for C's playgroup, and since we had a few other things we needed to do, all on the same day (pick up my food coop order, go to our friends' going away party), it worked perfectly.

Fun was had by all at the party!

Problem is, it decided to storm - the biggest storm of the year - this day.  Weather patterns are unpredictable in Ruby Valley.  When we pulled out of the driveway Saturday morning, it was bone dry.  We decided to try Harrison, as we'd been told many had been going over.  We got 2 miles up it and started sliding.  Luckily, we got turned around - first time we've ever almost got stuck up there.  This made us 30 minutes late for the coop pickup.  Coming home that night was frightful.  Thankfully, our sweet neighbor drove the road to make tracks for us to drive in!

The next morning, this is what we awoke to!

Thankfully, we'd purchased balls while in town to convert the currently unuseable kiddie pool into a ball pit!

What do you do when it's yucky outside?

Play house, of course!

Or hang out in the cushy chair:

(Yes, "she's old", as Rod reminds me, convincing me, against my better judgement, to let her have the chair in her old, aged, arthritic state...)

Eat french fries with Dada:

Play with my new alphabet fridge magnets:

Or just play in an old box!
