An uber catch-up post

I fully intended to get these all posted in nice individual pieces before Heather arrived and my week + hiatus, but it didn't happen, so now I'm throwing them all into one mega oddball post just to get caught up.

Before heading out on our camping trip, I wanted to set up the tent to make sure it was all in order and I knew how!  Charley helped!

First potty poo

A couple of weeks ago C took her first poopoo in the potty!  It was very exciting (for me) and I think very traumatic for her, as the look of horror crossed her face as she peered in and realized a part of her was laying in the blue plastic tub sitting on the floor.  She's not sat on it since!


Anyway, after the big event, we celebrated with candies in the kitchen!

Hate that I look so bad, but she looks so cute I had to share!  No idea why she was so full of poses - usually I can't get her to cooperate!  Guess it's more fun when mama's on the same side of the camera?

A bit of exercise

Okay, so I've only been going about twice a week, but hey - it's something!  We always ride to Governor's pond (and easy downhill), C gets out and stomps around for a bit (and Scooter - and today Benny - swims), and then we journey back home (a steady uphill).

Despite being so far from friends and family, it really is a GREAT place to grow up!  The air doesn't get any fresher, the water any cleaner!  (Especially after I learned from mom what hospitals do with their old meds...  I'm terrified to go back on public water!)
