Summer Activities

When you live in the most remote refuge in the country, you look for any opportunity to be social!  Here are pics from some activities with Charley.

Rod gave a talk for a camp sponsored by the Lion's Club at Lamoille Canyon.  This is a bad photo, but it's Charley in the foreground as Rod is speaking in the background.  This was right before she jammed her finger up my nose, bloodying it (she's actually done that twice)!

I started the South Ruby Valley Social Club, and our first gathering was at the bunkhouse.  Here's Charley, reading a book while waiting for everyone to arrive!

Charley and I headed into Lamoille for the Country Fair, where we met our friends Michael and Melody, who make jewelry and had a booth.  It was a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

When Charley was little she HATED tummy time.  Then she learned to roll over, and even then, as soon as you put her on her belly she'd roll to her back.  However, she now routinely rolls over to sleep on her belly - who would have thought???

We attended our first story time at the library - it was so much fun!  This is one of the few times I hate living SO far out, we miss out on things like this.

This is the coolest toy ever!

Charley enjoyed watching the other kids.

Smile!

I picked this book up randomly, and loved it so much we now own our own copy!
After the library, we met at the park with some other moms/kids for a playgroup.

Cute Charley Moments

It takes a really long time to upload videos to the blog, so I don't do it often.  Here is a smattering of my faves taken between April 3 and May 31.  (At least the ones that are only a few seconds long - there were lots more "faves", but they're too long and thus take WAAAY too long to upload!)
