Final Moments of Two... months, that is!

Even though I'm now 3 months old, here are some recent pics Mom just now got around to posting!

This is what Dad got Mom for Christmas - cool!  Can't wait to use it this summer around the refuge!

Uncle Michael got me these sunglasses for Christmas.  I don't like them much now, but Mom says I need to wear them.  Hopefully I'll get used to them!

Nana made this blanket, and Mom used it when she was little!

I sit in the bathroom in my bouncy seat while Mom takes showers - this time I actually fell asleep waiting for her!

Charley's First New Year!

From Alabama, we flew to Kansas City on New Year's Eve to introduce Charley to Rod's parents.

 We met our friends Ambre, Owen and Addyson in Joplin one day.

We drove home on Jan. 6, and this is what Ruby Valley Road looked like!

I'm Three Months Old Today!

Charley's First Christmas

On Dec. 22 we headed out for Charley's first big adventure.  We were not to fly out of Salt Lake City until the 23rd, but because of bad weather and impending snow, we played it safe and went on in on the 22nd.  I was nervous about the plane ride with an infant, but needlessly so - she did great!  On one flight she was complemented endlessly by the stewardesses and nearby passengers.

We arrived in Huntsville on the night of the 23rd, and were picked up by Nana, Pops, and Uncle Michael - this was his first time to meet Charley!

The next mornnig, on Christmas Eve, we headed north to Kentucky to my aunt Mary's house and my Dad's side of the family.  They loved Charley!

On Christmas Day we went to my Mammaw's for Mom's side of the family.  Again, she was a hit!

 We headed home on the 26th to Athens, and had our family Christmas.  Here's Charley with all her loot - she finally woke up to see it all!

 Madeleine, our friend in Norway, gave her this little book we call her "Rainbow Book" - it is one of her favorites!!!  We read it all the time.  Her new favorite thing to do with it is put the cloud on the last page in her mouth.  Most things are starting now to go in her mouth!

 Mom made everyone hats this Christmas, and Charley got several!

 There was so much snow on the ground when we got home, that Dad and I took advantage of the cross-country skis Jane and Lynn gave to Rod and I.

 Uncle Michael had fun playing with Charley - here she tried out a Bumbo chair!  The verdict's still out on whether she likes that one...

Monday night Mom and Dad had an open house, and lots of friends came. Our good friends the McDonalds came all the way from KY!

Sarah and Matthew were there.

The Cotton's came by later to meet her too!

Heather came the next day, despite her being sick, but took great measures to keep little C healthy!

And no visit could be complete without Mom getting creative with the camera!
