One October morning, I looked outside to find a familiar friend!

 While Paula was over and we were sitting at the kitchen table, this Sharpie killed a bird and was eating it out the back window.

 And, I saw my first spotted skunk - in the dumpster!

'Tis the season

I couldn't wait to put up our tree this year, especially after Charley had so much fun seeing Santa and all the trees at the Festival of Trees!

Polar Express

The main event was the Polar Express train!  We'd scored free tickets for an article I'd written about them in the Elko paper.  I thought it was more for my benefit, but Charley LOVED IT!
