The Dreaded Tummy Time...

Charley used to HATE tummy time. I still don't know if I'd go so far as to say she LIKES it now, but she tolerates it much better! And, the day before her 4 month birthday, she rolled over from her belly to her back!

Multitasking - tummy time while sucking on her hand!

It's the one time I willingly let her watch TV - anything to keep her distracted and on her stomach for as long as possible!

The Best Sound in the World!

Charley laughed for the first time at 12 weeks old. She was on her changing table (which she loves) and I was putting the bottoms of her feet on my face, and she laughed at it! It was SO GREAT!

Although it was spotty for a while after that, I can get her to laugh pretty regularly now - one good way is by using her tickle spot!

Or just generally being silly (which I'm pretty good at!)

And for some reason, of all the silly things I do, she cracks up at "Row Row Row Your Boat".

How Time Flies!

Charley has been in our lives for 4 months today, yet I cannot imagine life without her!

"It seems like just yesterday that...." is SO TRUE. I am trying to savor every minute with her, because I know once it's gone I'll never have that moment back! Before I know it she'll be one!

Anyway - as today is her four month birthday, I took some photos to commemorate the occasion:

Twelve Pounder!

Charley had her 4 month well-baby visit yesterday, and she's now 12 pounds 6 ounces! I guess I can put my fears to rest about the weight gain issue for now, and won't have to start her on rice cereal just yet! Sadly, today she seems to have some sort of virus and is battling diarrhea - hopefully that won't offset the progress we've made!

Here's the first time we took her for a walk wearing the sunglasses uncle Michael got her for Christmas... NOT a fan...

And here I am reading Goodnight Moon to her - this was the first book I ever read to her, and it's one of her faves (thanks Stacey!). She loves books - this is a good sign!

I think Charley's going to have to be the center of attention... not only can I no longer put her down, even for a SECOND (she has to have my undivided attention at all times), when the camera comes out she can't stop looking at it!
