Snow Day with Wendy's Family
Wendy's sister and two kids came into town, so we spent a day outside with them...
... and then they spent an evening at our house. Charley had a blast!
This will be the last post for a while. As I'm sure you've noticed - I let several pics accumulate, and then do several posts all at once. I'm not caught up again, so - you'll have to wait for the next batch! In case you haven't discovered it - at the top right of the blog is a place you can enter your email address to have updates sent directly to your email - that way you know whenever there's a new update and don't have to constantly check!

Projects with Trish
Sweet Trish, she bought stuff to make Valentine's with Charley at the store, and came over one day to do them - C had so much fun!
And one day she joined us outside to paint the snow!

Weekly Playdates
To help us get through the winter, I've lined up playdates for Charley each week. They go a little something like this:
Monday - Henry comes over for "Learning Time" and some play time; they usually play for about 20 minutes, then we have learning time, then they play for a short while more, and at some point Henry decides he's had enough and disappears out the door!
Wednesday Dylan gets dropped off the bus, then we take him home; Dylan makes Charley crack up like no one else can. I love to eavesdrop on them, and hear her belly laughs! I wish I had his touch!
And Friday, after school, Carli and Angie get dropped off, then we take them home; their favorite game is hide-and-seek - they are expert entertainers! I hardly hear a peep out of Charley while they are here - she's perfectly content to disappear into the back of the house with them and forget all about me!
We LOVE our playdates! It has become custom, when C wakes in the morning, she asks "Who's coming to play with me today?"

Tuesday Grant comes over; he has great imagination, lining up Charley's stuffed animals for a parade, putting on puppet shows, writing out her Christmas list for her... and great energy! You can always tell they've had a good time, I have to put every single toy away when Grant leaves! ;)
Thursday Evie stops by; Evie always has a snack in tow for Charley, and they share it before heading to play. Charley's playdates with Evie have been going on for many months now.

Or, we go outside even if it's cold!
Not so sure about the snow at first...
... and then she was off!
Look Mom, I can do tricks with my hands!
Grant came over, played in Charley's playhouse, and helped her make her Christmas list.
It went something like this: Charley, do you want a ball? Yes. Do you want a puppy? Yes. Do you want a fishy? Yes. You get the drift.
Gramma - this is the purple shirt I got to go with her new pants! And - the next outfit is from you too!
Layla spent the night - see that teensy bug she found?
Mmm, Layla, your drinks taste so much better than mine!
Layla introduced Charley to her fave - Mickey Mouse!
Hmmm, a team effort...
Tea party!
Charley and mini-C!
