Reed’s preschool pics

Another tooth bites the dust!

Unbeknownst to Reed (he still thinks we sit at his church), while he’s in preschool on Tuesday mornings C and I sit at Einstein Bagels and do her school for 4 hours.

Charley’s room is MAXED OUT.  Our neighbor donated a desk to us, and she chose a color and I painted it.  We managed to squeeze it in, but had to do a LOT of reorganizing.  Here’s a 360 degree view of her room – with every nook and cranny, bookshelf, trunk, etc. filled. to. the. max.  BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!  Yikes!  It took us a couple of days, and minus the pile in the middle of the floor which she didn’t know what to do with, everything found a home.

November!!

It’s now January, and I’m almost caught up through November!  Pretty good for me, eh?

My new niece, Ivy Marie, was born on my dad’s birthday!!  By the time you are reading this, I will have finally met her!!  YAY!

We put up our Thanksgiving tree, a fun tradition the kids look forward to.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

The Museum of Native American History held a girl scout day.

Mark Brown, a photographer we met while living in Ruby Valley (his site: stillofthemoment.com), and his wife Kendall, came to visit.  One of Kim Smith’s current grad students is netting Saw-whet Owls, so the three of us went to experience Mitchell in action.  He netted one owl, luckily – cute little stinker!

The next day, we took them to Hobbs SP to hike.

And then to our favorite restaurant, Chennai Cafe.
