MORE birthday, and Halloween fun!

Grandpa came to spend the day with the kids.  Roller skates (C had outgrown her old pair) and Lego Duplos = 2 happy kids!  He got to attend Charley's final makeup soccer game as well.

After the game came the big birthday party, which he attended, and which was featured in my last post.

After the party, we attended the first annual Centerton FOP Halloween Carnival!  Charley was Silvermist, a water fairy.  Reed was - at his request - a rainbow.  Thanks again, mom, for making that costume and making a little boy smile!

The next morning we bade farewell to Nana and Pops.  :(  Luckily, Grandpa decided to spend the day with us.  The kids had professional photos taken (I'd never had a professional photographer take Reed's pic, and wanted to make sure and do them while he was little!) that morning.  If you are reading this, you likely received one in a Christmas card; if not, let me know, I have extras!  ;)  I'll post those soon too.

We carved our pumpkins too.

First Charley had a meltdown - hence her absence in these photos...

... then we finally got HER back out...
... and Reed had one.  Yep, that's about how it goes around here.

 He's still pouting.

And then, there was the big night.  The big trick or treat culmination of the Halloween season.  Rod had to dress up for school - rocker dude.

My little fairy and rainbow.  Doesn't get cuter than this!

First, Rod took Reed around the 'hood, while C helped me pass out candy.

Wait, she had to wish him luck!

Our neighbors Kurt and Kingston were heading out just ahead of them, so they came back to join them.

Then the whole crew came back to dump out their buckets, and Rod took C with Kurt and Kingston while C helped me pass out candy.  When it got slow, he squeezed in his bath - hence the pjs.  :)

He got so excited when someone came to the door!
