Christmas #... I've lost track! And a surprise visit

On New Year's Eve we left KC and Grandma and Grandpa and headed to AL to see Nana and Pops.  We arrived after 8 pm in Huntsville and headed home.  As it was late, Charley pretty much went straight to bed, poor Mom had to go for a delivery, and made it just in time for the big count down.  Pretty low key New Year's, but so nice to be home.  Charley I honestly think opened at least 1 gift each day of our 17 day trip!  (Okay, maybe a little exaggerated, but close!)

Just relaxin' a bit before bed

Yes, more stairs!

Checkin' out Santa with Pops

I got a WAY cool snake ring!
On New Year's Day (Sunday) we all went to church, then out for a Mexican lunch.  Mom informed me a "surprise" awaited us, and I could tell she was giddy about it - I tried hard to guess, to no avail!  That afternoon, there was a knock on the door.  Guess who?

My Mammaw, aunt Lisa, uncle Russell, and cousin Kasey drove all the way from KY to see us!  What a SURPRISE!!!!

They got C this cool pillow pet - she loves it!

"Stand up, you can do it!"

Mom made Rod and C matching hats...

But Rod's was plain and C's was a sock monkey - I think Rod preferred Charley's!

Nana and Pops had a whole slew of toys for C to unwrap and leave at their house, so she has things to play with there.

Practicing walking!

There's the matching duo!

Future drummer?

We had a whole band!

Mom and Dad got me this sweet locket with my 2 honies inside

The whole crew!

We played "Actionary" one night - fun!

Aw, now she has a Tigger to go with the Pooh and Eeyore Grandpa got her!

And a book about the whole gang!

Uncle Russell, you crack me up!

Surveying her bounty

She approves!

Mom and Dad got us blocks of Velveeta, for Rod's famous cheese dip (we pay $8.99/box!)

Another baby!!!!  (This one was mine, and before that my cousin LeaAynn's)

Christmas #2 and #3 (Missouri)

On December 23, we drove the 4.5 hours to SLC, paid for an unused night at Baymont Inn, left our car in their lot and took the shuttle to the airport.  We managed to score a direct flight (nice!) to KC, and arrived to be greeted by Robert.  We had supper and stopped at the store to get some things for Charley for the week, then headed to his house.

Charley's an old pro at this by now!

Finally - at Grandpa's!

And more at Grandma's!

She got me this cool piano toy

Christmas Eve - just a preview

Nose!

Christmas Day has arrived!

Wow, look at all these COOL gifts!!!

A BABY!  Thanks Grandma!

And more yet at Grandpa's...  so much for not getting spoiled!

Hey Harry Dog!

And Pat and Sarah got her some cool gifts - we opened them  together at Jose Peppers.

STAIRS!  My new favorite thing!  (And what mom spent much of her vacation doing...)

We went to visit our friend Jen - she had 2 huge dogs, a friendly cat, and some goats!

Grandpa took us to Squaw Creek one day to look at thousands of Snow Geese

I spent most of the time down here

Hilarious!  I can't believe Mom and Dad are allowing this!
