Prepping for Christmas

With our upcoming move, and leaving Ruby Valley on Dec. 19, we had to celebrate quickly!

We took Charley on a surprise trip to see Santa on the Polar Express.

She helped put up the tree.

Which made her think of Cheerios...  and the blue bowl...  which is exactly what she had last year when we were setting up the tree.  She remembered that, and requested this specifically.

My Elf on the Shelf came back!  She named him Santa Star.

Thanksgiving

All dressed up for Turkey Day!

 We had a big Thanksgiving dinner early, while Mom and Dad were visiting.  YUM!

Paula joined us.

On actual Thanksgiving day, Trish and Darrell spent it with us.  Since we'd already had a traditional meal, we had baked ziti, salad and garlic bread instead!
