This kid and his zip lines… sigh.
Chillaxin’ and makin’ some deer jerky.
Had a long weekend, went to the Tulsa Zoo.
We went on a morning outing. Started at Centerton park…
… walked to this little hidden swing…
… Reed found a cicada…
… and tried to rescue other creatures along the path…
… did a little ballet en route…
… and ended up at the creek, before reversing our path and walking it all back.
First day of preschool – again.
I took the girls to sit and read our book, Malala Yousafzai…
… then we spent some time at Crystal Bridges.
Before soccer, we hit up the Centerton Day pancake breakfast at the fire station.
After soccer, we did the parade.
This year in Library Lessons for Homeschoolers, Reed has his own class. We sat through the first several, but I’ve decided after being at preschool all morning, he’s just not ready to turn around and sit, so now we just spend time together in the preschool room during Charley’s lesson.
This kid… reading a book, in her pjs, in the grocery.
Pretty morning, so we interspersed school with a little play and biking.
Reed made paper plate portraits of us at preschool.
So realistic you couldn’t tell it wasn’t really us, eh?
Kids planned a birthday party for Scooter, complete with a pizza crust/dog treat cake!
We did school outside until it became too unpleasant to do so.
