Playgroups

We have been lucky to get involved with a great group of moms/kids in Elko.  They have a weekly playgroup, and we drove in for it some times this summer.  I hate that this winter we'll be largely house bound and have to miss out.  That's one of the few times I really hate being so isolated.


It is held at the Family Resource Center.  We arrived a bit early one day, so we hung out at the park across the street.

And finally, the fun begins!

Monica was nice enough to invite us to stay over at her house, as her hubby was out of town, my hubby was out of town, and this way we could stay in Elko 2 days!  We had so much fun!!!

The next morning we took advantage of story time at the library.  Here's some random little girl checking out Charley.

We also had lunch with Melody and Michael.

On the way home, road construction had us waiting 30 minutes to get by, so we entertained ourselves.

Another day at play group.  

Charley and Layla are big buds.  Monica's way cool too.  They came out to Ruby Valley to visit us one day!  Charley was SOOO excited she couldn't contain herself!

It was a nice day so after walking to the hatchery and touring it, we sat on the lawn until they had to go.  I learned that Charley does NOT share well!  Poor Layla!

She couldn't even have her OWN snack, Charley had to take it too!
