Grandma's Visit

Grandma and Bob came to stay with us earlier this month.

Charley had so much fun playing with them!

Looking at birds

Hey Grandma!

I think Grandma had as much fun with the new sidewalk chalk she brought as Charley did!

Playing with the new ball Grandma brought Charley

No idea why she keeps pulling out her winter hats...

What a hit!  Bob found this at a yard sale - Charley plays on it every day!

Homemade Butter Pecan ice cream

Her new bean bag toss

Always fun to color!

We went to the Lamoille Country Fair one day - loads of fun (but HOT HOT HOT!)
Monica and Layla were there - riding the shuttle from our cars to the fair

Bounce house with the big kids - a bit intimidating, she just sat!

She saw this "robot" and had to have it

Her fave part of the day - this little train ride

She's the 4th one back.  I didn't know they rode around the grounds - they disappeared and I got a little nervous!  We told Charley later we didn't know where she want and we were asking "Where's Charley?"  She thought this was funny, and talked about that for days after.

Tram back to car

I think we wore her out!

Elko Parks and Rec Summer Classes

We signed her up for 4.

Dad took her to a Bugs class:

I took her to a bubbles class:

Dad took her to a dino dig class:

And every Wednesday we're going to a tumbling class (the lady yelled at me for my flash, so I had to turn it off - the pics are terrible):

Second Dentist Visit

The first one was pretty much a disaster...  I regret it.  She was too young and the dentist too zealous.  We took her to a pediatric dentist.  This time we decided to have our regular dentist (who doesn't even recommend seeing kids until they are 3) see her.  Much better choice.

We prepared - reading books about going to the dentist, talking about it, and "practicing".  However - the morning of our appointment they called to say the dentist's wife had gone into labor!  They offered to still have the hygeniests clean our teeth, however, so we said yes.

So, he agreed to "take a look" in Charley's mouth, to make her feel like she'd been seen (since we'd worked on it!).  It took some coaxing, but after a bribe to pick out a toy, she happily opened!

Moments from June

Just some random pics I wanted to share!  Isn't this how you cut the grass?

Pretending to sleep...  oh, she found her winter hats and has been wearing them around the house for days now.

She wanted to wear her helmet - to water the plants!

Already have it on - may as well ride my trike!  (She has gotten REALLY good at it!)

I found a great bulk deal on berries, so bought POUNDS of them.  Ran the dehydrator for a week straight, and decided to chocolate dip a box of them.  Who needs chocolate - give me a strawberry!

Okay, I can do this - first, strawberry...
 ... then chocolate...

 ...mmm, who needs strawberries?

Beautiful, full rainbow!  And I didn't notice it when we saw it, but there's a second one!
